While watching the first episode you could definitely tell that in our country it’s hard to find resources that are made by black people. All of our lives we’ve been conditioned to use white people products so we don’t even know where to begin to look. I didn’t even know how big the issue was in our community until after watching the documentary. Everything in our faces in today’s world is made by white people, even down to weed. Him having to sleep on the bench because of the lack of black owned hotels painted the picture clearly for me.
